Christ Jyoti School is a private, unaided, minority English Medium School, under the general management of the Satna Diocesan Society, registered under the M.P. Society, Registration, Act. 1964 (Reg.No. 3276 of 28/04/1973). It is locally run by St Jude's Church, Lavkushnagar, in collaboration with Rev. Sisters of the Congregation of the Prabhudasi Sisters of Ajmer (PSA). The management enjoys the minority rights as ensured in the constitution of India (Article No.30). Christ Jyoti School has its simple beginning on 25th July of 1972, at Lavkushnagar, in the Catholic Church campus with its Kindergarten Classes.

Satna Diocesan Society’s Educational goal is to teach students to practice moral values coupled with excellence in education. It aims to achieve the students’ full potential by enriching their spiritual, social and academic development that leads them to become productive members of our global community, in an environment of love, care and discipline. It also envisions to enable the young to develop into a holistic personality and earn a living and contribute to the economic, social, political and cultural progress of the nation.
